Homage to Miss Bradshaw

I can't remember anything more iconic than seeing Carrie Bradshaw on screen for the first time. The show had long been over (since I was too young to watch it when it was airing) and my teenage heart needed something new I stumbled across Sex and the City! As I am more of a Samantha girl, my constant writing deemed me a Carrie to my beloved friends, as I do adore the character let's show a modern look that still gives the energy only Carrie could give!

Here's how I did it, going from the bottom of the outfit to the top! A simple black leather bootie, a pink mini skort (you heard me a skort), a simple knit sweater, opera length leather gloves, a pearl clutch (I don't think Carrie believed in real bags that weren't shopping bags), and my favorite piece this gorgeous black and white faux fur jacket with hidden hook and eye closures in the front! Don't forget about a hot pink phone case to get the full Carrie feel and you're set!
